Schedule
Introductory meeting (online): 03.03.2021, 8:30h
The meeting link is provided in PLUS-online.
The course will consist of about 7 interactive online lectures, followed by project work. The time slots for the lectures can be negotiated at the beginning. The project work will be guided via regular online meetings organized separately per project.
Contents
This lectures presents modern methodologies for software development in cyber-physical systems (CPS). A CPS consists of a multitude of distributed networked computational platforms interacting with the physical world. Some examples are: avionics and automotive control systems, factory automation, surveillance, building automation, and so on. Model-Based Design processes involve analysis and design activities on system models (i.e., models of the application and of the physical system under control). These activities are performed in successive iterations, starting with a high-level (e.g., mathematical) model of the entire system. At every iteration, the models are refined (by adding more details) until the software is obtained.
