    Parallel computing architectures (shared memory, distributed memory,...)

    Parallel processing models (SIMD, etc.)

    Parallel algorithms (with focus on shared memory systems). 

    Concurrency, synchronization.

    Parallel programming models (Cilk, OpenMp, UPC, MPI,CUDA)

    Analysis of parallel programs.

    Parallelization, in particular porting sequential programs to parallel computational platforms.
